At our January meeting we enjoyed a social time to catch up on holiday news and activities.
Dini brought in some skates from Holland when she was 10 years old and woven bands to tie the skates onto shoes. She is knitting socks with Fable sock yarn and also brought in a practice knit sample on improvised needles.
Christine brought in woven towels using the same pattern as Usha.
Annie brought in a skein of sock wool in a merino/mohair blend.
Margot brought in some crocheted squares for an afghan she will donate to the hospital.
Annie brought in a wet felted scarf she received as a Christmas gift, a sheep t-shirt and a knitting quote she received from her husband plus fingerless mitts knitted for Windreach Farm using their handspun, dyed yarn.
Gini brought in her handknit socks using Opal yarn.
