We visited Windreach Farm for our second monthly meeting which was held on Saturday, October 15th. We were very happy to welcome Alexa Wilson as a new member. Rosemary Oliver, who leads the Wool Programme at Windreach, gave a detailed outline of all the activities at Windreach Farm for people of all ages and abilities. Alexa described the wonderful work done through the Therapeutic Riding Programme. Members then had a guided tour of the farm and it's facilities. There are sheep, goats, cows, miniature horses as well as a variety of fowl on the farm.
Members had a wonderful visit and it is worth checking out the Windreach Farm website.
