At our meeting this month Saira Jan from FibreCraft spoke to our group about needle and wet felting and showed us many of her pieces.

Most of the pieces were needle felted.

This sheep was felted with white locks for texture.

Embroidery embellished this valley scene.

I believe these are some of the pieces from her workshops.

Many of her pieces were sculptural.

This piece was hollow - created with a resist.

Hollow vessels can also be created with felting.

This gnome was adorable with its little toadstool

and a little owl.

Saira is offering a workshop for us. We are deciding among making a gnome, and owl,

or a lamb.

She also showed us Mr. and Mrs. Mouse.

Such cute facial expressions.

For Show and Share, Verna brought in a collection of ornaments.

The bear had been made with a punch needle and the loops clipped to create a plush texture.
